China puts first 40nm Beidou navigation chip into mass production

Wuhan Mengxin Technology Co., Ltd. has put China's first 40nm high-precision Beidou navigation application chip into mass production, according to the people's government of central China's Hubei province.

The chip is called as Tyloo. It supports Beidou Groud-based Augmentation System, which enables Beidou navigation system to improve the precision of location-based services (LBS) to less than one meter.

Meanwhile, the new chip supports assistant fast positioning that shortens the positioning time to less than two seconds; supports Beidou trellis code that promotes the progress of LBS searching; and adopts a group of unique technologies for lowering power consumption, anti-interference and supporting multiple ways of augmentation.
