China's Road Logistics Price Index rises to 1,043.4 points during the period between Nov. 9 and Nov. 13, China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) and Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Group jointly released on Friday.
Full-Truck-Load index, one of the sub-indices of the Road Logistics Price Index, increased 0.6 percent from the previous week to 975.1 points. Less-Than-Truck-Load Light Cargo index stood at 1,136.2 points, up 1.2 percent week on week.
Less-Than-Truck-Load Heavy Cargo index gained 1.0 percent week on week to 1,154.4 points last month. Analysts noted that road logistics demand had been improving since the beginning of November underpinned by this year's Singles' Day shopping spree across China.
Tmall, the online marketplace of China's e-commerce giant Alibaba, has reported dazzling sales of 91.2 billion yuan (14.3 bln U.S. dollars) on the Single's Day, a 60-percent rise from last year's 51.7 billion yuan.
