The integration of civil and military industries is extending to strategic emerging industries, according to a report by Shanghai Securities News on Tuesday.
China is about to initiate a batch of major projects in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, high-end equipment and space infrastructure construction, which would all provide platform for civil-military industrial integration, a source with the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) was quoted as saying.
