China will implement the smart manufacturing program by two steps before 2025, and will set targets and key tasks for each step, said Zhou Ji, head of Chinese Academy of Engineering, at a recent conference for the program appraisal, quoted by the Xinhua-run cnstock.com.
Xin Guobin, vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said China will do a good job in the popularization of digitalization work for the manufacturing industry and the demonstration of intellectualization work for the industry at the current stage.
Meanwhile, China will strengthen its cultivation of system solution aggregators, and firmly implement the annual plans, Xin added.
Experts also gave their opinions and suggestions to the general requirements, development target, key tasks and policies of the smart manufacturing program at the conference.
