China needs to grasp the opportunity of developing intelligent manufacturing to boost the business transformation and upgrade of equipment manufacturing industry, said Xin Guobin, vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
Xin said at a meeting on Tuesday that China will strengthen overall planning for the implementation of intelligent manufacturing strategy, and do concrete jobs to turn strategy into planning, turn planning into schemes, turn schemes into action, and turn actions into achievements.
He said Chinese government will focus on the construction of national standardization system for intelligent manufacturing, organize the execution of intelligent manufacturing projects, strengthen policy supports to break the bottleneck of intelligent manufacturing development, and intensify the popularization and application of advanced experiences.
