China Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Intellectual Property Right Alliance was established in Beijing on Friday, which is aimed at boosting the circulation and utilization of intellectual property rights (IPR) in the naval architecture and ocean engineering industry.
The alliance will provide IPR-centered services for its members and focus on boosting cultivation of high-value patents, patent portfolio of key and core technologies, patent and technology transfer, patent strategy implementation, and IPR management standardization.
Meanwhile, it will build an IPR coordinated service platform for the industry to boost the improvement of innovation capacity and core competitiveness of China's naval architecture and ocean engineering industry.
The alliance is co-founded by over 50 universities, research institutions, shipbuilding enterprises and other entities and IPR service institutions, including Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. and Shagnhai Jiao Tong University.
