North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region saw more rare earth exports in the first eight months of the year, but the export prices fell a lot.
Statistics show that Inner Mongolia exported 3,692.3 metric tons (tonnes) of rare earth products in January-August, up 33.3 percent year on year, and accounting for 18.1 percent of China's total exports in the period.
The export value of those rare earth products was down 15.4 percent year on year to 110 million yuan.
