China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) mulls on rolling out a guidance on development of graphene industry, said a report by China Securities Journal on Friday, citing an anonymous source.
The MIIT also considers establishing a united innovation center and an industry development alliance in graphene sector. The Ministry of Science and Technology and the MIIT is working on development plan of new materials in 2016-2020 and graphene is almost sure to be part of the plan.
China Innovation Alliance of the Graphene Industry is compiling international standards on graphene and developing industrial service system on financing, incubation as well as merger and acquisition, said Li Yichun, secretary general with the alliance.
