China's plastic products industry generated 1,358.29 billion yuan of main operating revenue in the first eight months of 2015, up 6.4 percent year on year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, it made 76.25 billion yuan of total profit, up 13.1 percent year on year; and paid 37.01 billion yuan in taxes, up 11 percent year on year. China's plastic products industry posted a sales-output ratio of 97.7 percent in the period; and its value of export delivery reached 141.64 billion yuan, down 3.3 percent year on year.
In August, the sales-output ratio was 98 percent, and the export delivery value dropped 5.4 percent year on year to 18.36 billion yuan. In the first eight months, China's output of plastic products accumulated to 47.6 million tonnes, growing 0.8 percent year on year. In August, the output rose 1.5 percent year on year to 6.43 million tonnes.
