Hebei province, a leading steelmaking province in China, saw its iron and steel industry profit 6.537 billion yuan in January-September, down 50.16 percent from the same period of 2014.
The local steel industry made operational revenues of 738.969 billion yuan out of main business in the first nine months, down 12.91 percent on year. In September, the steel industry of Hebei generated operational revenues of 82.135 billion yuan from main business, down 24.77 percent on year, with profits of 391 million yuan, down 78.54 percent on year.
