Xinjiang Asele Copper Company Limited is expected to yield 34,650 metric tons (tonnes) of copper and reap 1.26 billion yuan of output value in 2015.
In the first ten months of the year, the company produced 29,998 tonnes of copper metal, up 4.21 percent year on year and 8,900 tonnes of zinc metal, and realized 1.02 billion yuan of output value.
Recently, its project of zinc tailings for copper was put into service on a trial basis. The project, with a total investment of 61.45 million yuan, can handle 1,200 tonnes of zinc tailings each day.
After the roll-out, the project can recycle more than 1,200 tonnes of copper metal and generate more than 30 million yuan of output value annually.
