Multiple Chinese governmental departments would jointly carry out an assessment on the nation's mineral explorations programs in the period of 2011-2020, according to the Ministry of Land and Mineral Resources.
The assessment is aimed to appraise progresses and implementation of policies, discover and analyze problems, and put forward corresponding solutions.
Priorities would be placed on basic exploration of oil, gas, shale gas, natural gas hydrate, other unconventional resources, key minerals and technological development.
The assessment would focus on work done in the period of 2011-2015 and would be completed by January 15, 2016.
