China's crude steel output fell 2.3 percent year on year to 803.83 million metric tons (tonnes) in 2015, according to a report released by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the country's top economic planner, on late Wednesday.
Meanwhile, output of steel products in 2015 stood at 1,123.50 million tonnes, up 0.6 percent year on year, with the growth rate 3.9 percentage points lower from a year ago.
