Land transaction fees in first-tier Chinese cities, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou stood at 472.2 billion yuan by December 15 this year, according to the latest statistics released after a routine survey conducted by China Index Academy (CIA), one of the country's leading property research institutes.
The average floor price in these cities hits record high at 20,193 yuan/square meter so far, up 37.24 percent year on year.
Land transaction fees in Beijing totaled 192.77 billion yuan, exceeding that in the whole year of last year, hitting record high.
