China's Warehouse Storage Index (CWSI) dived 4.4 percentage points to 48.7 pecent in December, 2015, according to the statistics released by China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing on Wednesday.
The trend of CWSI for each month of 2015 showed that demand was insufficient in China's warehousing secotr and domestic economy faced huge downward pressure, said He Hui, deputy director of China Logistics Information Center.
CWSI, which was established in 2014, reflects the operation condition of domestic warehousing sector as well as the supply and demand of major commodities. After trial-running for over one year, CWSI has been issued on the second day of each month.
