China's three leading Internet companies, Baidu (BIDU.NASDAQ), Alibaba (BABA.NYSE) and Tencent (00700.HK), all launched their virtual robot products recently, the People's Daily reported on Thursday.
Virtual robot is an Internet intellectual application targeting at public users, which provide individualized man-machine interaction experience for customers. Industry insiders believe the virtual robot business will be connected to various services related to people's livelihood, such as traveling, tourism and healthcare.
A group of A-stock listed companies will become beneficiaries of the virtual robot business, which has a close relationship with artificial intelligence and big data business. They are Iflytek Co., Ltd. (002230.SZ), GoerTek Inc. (002241.SZ), Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (002415.SZ), Dawning Information Industry Co., Ltd. (603019.SH) and Beijing TRS Information Technology Co., Ltd. (300229.SZ).
