China's intellectual property (IP) market has entered into a period of consolidation since the bubble in 2014 came to an end, and it is in line for booming development, according to a report publicized by market researcher Analysys on Monday.

The report said the market will enter into a high-speed development period in 2016, along with the development and maturity of China's culture and entertainment industry, which will have a more mature industrial chain and operation mode for IP development and utilization.

It forecasts the value of IP brands will be widely accepted by the public, and high quality IPs will be held by a few enterprises, which means IP transactions will decrease.

The report said China's culture and creative industries mainly use intellectual properties for mutual authorization between film and TV drama products and literature works in the before, until Internet business emerges and boosts the development of IP market.
