China's Internet industry keeps swift development

China's Internet industry has kept swift development and more policies are expected to be released in the final quarter of this year, according to Xinhua-run news portal www.cnstock.com.

After Chinese government released the 'Internet+' action plan, local governments have attached great significance to seizing the opportunities thereof. Seven provinces and municipalities have issued their local implementation plans so far, and 14 more are to follow suit soon.

In the meantime, Internet companies took the initiative in enhance strategic cooperation with local governments to seek new booster for business development.

An analyst with Guotai & Junan Securities said the 13th Five-year (2016-2020) Plan of China in promoting information consumption will benefit communication infrastructure. Investment in the communication industry will be a major theme in the period of 2016-2020 and relevant sectors include optical communication, IDC data center, and 4G/5G telecom network.

Among A-share listed companies, Suning Commerce Group (002024.SZ), ZTE Corp. (000063.SZ), Dr. Peng Telecom & Media Group Co. (600804.SH) have entered businesses concerning information infrastructure.
