China's state credit information sharing and exchange platform will be put into operation at the end of 2015, said Lian Weiliang, vice head of China's top economic planner - National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Monday.
Lian spoke, together with the above-mentioned one, five near-term tasks on a conference concerning constructing the platform, requiring Chinese provinces, autonomous regions and cities to contribute their credit info to the platform by the yearend.
Meanwhile, the official asked localities to better organize activities such as "local credit week" to beat drum for construction of www.creditchina.gov.cn, a public portal of praising credibility and punishing dishonesty held by the State Information Center and technically supported by Baidu.com Inc.
Lian also urged faster publicity of administrative approvals and punishment, unification of social credit codes and great efforts into integration of creditability and incentives and dishonesty with punishment.
To the end, China's various localities are called on to crank up their efforts to better build credit demonstration cities, optimize credit construction in E-commerce, transportation, and power transactions, comprehensive credit commitment system and application of credit records and reports, vitalize social credit agencies, and improve credit big data analysis and appraisal.
