China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has required faster application of the mode practiced in the China (Hangzhou) Cross-Border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area so as to boost cross-border E-commerce sector nationwide, said Shen Danyang, MOC spokesperson Wednesday.
Construction of the Hangzhou cross-border E-commerce area has gone well and by October, its cross-border transactions under supervision of customs exceeded 1.7 billion US dollars.
MOC together with other authorities are constructing supervision, regulation and security systems suitable for cross-border E-commerce industry and stress strengthening business to business (B2B) cross-border E-commerce to foster the sector.
