China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) is supporting relevant units to accelerate their work of organizing China Industrial Internet Industry Alliance, said the MIIT's vice minister Chen Zhaoxiong on Thursday.
Chen said at the World Internet Conference the alliance will integrate resources from all sides on the industrial chain, and enable its members to jointly make breakthroughs in key generic technologies and boost application and popularization of research results.
He added the ministry will boost cross-border coordination and cooperation among the Internet, telecom, IT and manufacturing industries, organize demonstration of applications, give a full play to the alliance as a cross-border cooperation platform and focus on international cooperation.
