China's top economic planner, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), on Wednesday released a catalogue for promoting key energy-saving and low-carbon technologies.
The move aims to accelerate improvement and promotion of energy saving technologies, realize intensive use of energy resources and alleviate environmental pressure, said the NDRC.
The catalogue enlists 226 key technologies, covering coal, power, steel, non-ferrous metals, petroleum and petrochemicals, chemicals, building materials, machinery, light industry, textiles, building construction, transportation and telecommunications.
