China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) (00883. HK), the third largest oil company in China announced on Thursday that it generated sales revenue of oil and gas of 47.93 billion yuan in the third quarter of 2018, up 33.4 percent year on year.
CNOOC realized net produce of 113.8 million barrels of oil equivalent in the third quarter, down 2.1 percent year on year. This includes production of 73.7 million barrels in China's sea area as well as 40.1 million barrels overseas.
The company realized oil price of 71.55 U.S. dollars per barrel on average in the third quarter, up 40.7 percent year on year, and gas price of 6.26 U.S. dollars per thousand cubic feet, up 3.4 percent year on year.
CNOOC planned five projects to be put into operation in 2018, three of which has gone into operation by the end of third quarter.
