The construction of rural information infrastructure will be promoted to accelerate the coverage of broadband networks and 4G, said an annual working plan jointly issued by the Cyberspace Administration of China and three other departments.
The working plan pointed out that multiple measures will be taken to achieve network coverage in remote rural schools, promoting education informatization in rural areas.
It also made clear that efforts will be deepened to promote the development of e-commerce in rural areas, tap local tourism resources and foster new forms of rural business.
