The post included a video clip from Trump's interview with Fox News on Wednesday morning, in which the president said children are "almost immune" to the virus.

WASHINGTON -- Private companies in the United States added 167,000 jobs in July amid a resurgence of COVID-19 cases, payroll data company Automatic Data Processing (ADP) reported on Wednesday.
The figure, well below the forecast of 1 million by economists surveyed by Dow Jones, indicates a much slower employment growth compared with June, when a revised 4.3 million jobs had been created in the private sector.

LOME -- Togo's tally of COVID-19 cases reached 1,001 on Wednesday with 13 new cases reported in the last day, according to the latest report from the Health and Public Hygiene Ministry.
So far, 690 recoveries and 21 deaths have been recorded, the report said, adding that in recent weeks, the country saw a rise in new infections.

BEIJING -- Chinese health authority said Thursday that it received reports of 37 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland Wednesday, including 30 locally transmitted.
Of the locally-transmitted cases, 27 were reported in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and three in Liaoning Province, the National Health Commission said in its daily report.

BUENOS AIRES -- Public health takes priority over other matters amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Argentine President Alberto Fernandez said on Wednesday.
Speaking via a video conference at the opening of the new 52-bed Bicentennial Hospital in Ituzaingo, some 24 km west of Buenos Aires, the president said the facility will initially treat COVID-19 patients exclusively.

SAO PAULO -- Brazil on Wednesday recorded 1,437 new deaths from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the national death toll to 97,256.
Tests also detected 57,152 new infections, bringing the total caseload to 2,859,073, said the health ministry.
The state of Sao Paulo, Brazil's most populous state, is the epicenter of the national outbreak, with 585,265 infections and 24,109 deaths.
