China NEA adds 5.3mln kw PV station construction capacity for 2015

The National Energy Administration (NEA) has released a notice to raise the nationwide PV power station construction scale for 2015 by 5.3 million kw. Particularly, north China's Hebei and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region saw the largest scale expansion by 700,000 kw, according to a report by cnstock.com.

The added scale is to support PV power station constructions in places that have advantageous conditions for PV construction, places that have well completed PV construction plan, or new energy demonstration cities and counties that have actively carries out innovations, according to the notice.

Local energy administrative departments should submit relevant PV power station project list within one month after the notice, the NEA said, noting approved projects should start construction within 2015 and start on-grid power generation before June 30 of 2016. Stock brokers suggest relevant listing shares such as Shenzhen Topray solar (002218.SZ) and TBEA (600089.SH) for attention.
