​Vietnam's state budget collection up 14.3 pct in H1

Vietnam collected some 651.7 trillion Vietnamese dong (28.7 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of this year, up 14.3 percent on-year, according to the Ministry of Finance.

Domestic revenue, estimated at 523.4 trillion Vietnamese dong (23.1 billion U.S. dollars), rose by 15.5 percent and accounted for over 80 percent of the total collection, local newspaper VnEconomy on Thursday cited the ministry's statistics as reporting.

Revenue from crude oil surged 25.3 percent to 29.6 trillion Vietnamese dong (1.3 billion U.S. dollars), and import-export activities contributed 146 trillion Vietnamese dong (over 6.5 billion U.S. dollars) to the state budget, up 2 percent.
