CITIC Securities (600030.SH) announced on Tuesday that it would issue 640 million new H shares to the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) via a private placement. The new H shares to be issued will represent 5.81 percent of the broker's stock capital and 54.31 percent of its total H share capital as of June 8. The NSSF has promised to accept a 36-month lock-up period for the H shares.
