By the end of May, 13,663 privately placed fund products with total assets under management of 2.69 trillion yuan had been registered with the Asset Management Association of China, China Securities Regulatory Commission said on late Monday.
Meanwhile, the number of registered private fund managers stood at 12,285. Among the private funds were 7,487 securities investment funds, 4,565 equity investment funds, 993 venture capital investment funds, and 618 other types of funds. Their assets stood at 1.15 trillion yuan, 2 trillion yuan, 216.1 billion yuan, and 128.9 billion yuan respectively.
