Bond prices on China's interbank bond market are likely to increase Monday on investors' expectations for monetary loosening.

Traders noted that investors tended to anticipate for more monetary loosening policies, as the flash July manufacturing purchasing managers index (PMI) fell short of their expectations.

Markit Group posted on last Friday that its flash July manufacturing PMI dipped 1.2 percentage points over June to 48.2 percent, lower than a 49.7 percent expected by market players.

On Friday, ChinaBond New Composite Total Return Index, a broadly-based market sentiment indicator, ended up 0.0963 percent to 163.3158 points.
