Baoshan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd (600019.SH) announced on Wednesday that the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors had approved its application to issue a maximum of 20 billion yuan worth of mid-term notes (MTN).
The approved quota is valid within two years. During the validity, the Shanghai-listed company can issue MTNs in batches, but the first offering should be completed within two months. China Construction Bank and Bank of China will serve as joint leading underwriters.
