China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) issued on Wednesday 28 billion yuan worth of 10-year T-bonds at annualized yield of 2.99 percent. Statistics from China Government Securities Depository Trust & Clearing Co. showed that yield on the 10-year fixed interest rate T-bonds traded on the domestic interbank market stood at 3.1064 percent.

Market players disclosed that the subscription ratio reached 2.06 times the volume offered. Analysts noted that under the downward pressure of domestic economy, the risk appetite of investors cooled down, which led to the reflux of capital into bond market. This is the 23rd batch of book-entry coupon bearing T-bonds offered by the ministry in 2015, with the value date and circulation date on October 15 and October 21 respectively.
