Securities Association of China (SAC) issued Friday self-regulation rules on corporate bond underwriting in a bid to better protect the legitimate interests of investors and ensure healthy development of corporate bond market.
According to the SAC, it has drafted corporate bond underwriting standards and due diligence guide, which has been approved by its general council and will take effect from Friday.
In the meantime, the SAC has abolished the pilot measures on small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) private placement bonds and due diligence guide.
