China's Guangdong and Henan provinces issued a combined amount of 23.9 billion yuan of bonds on Monday, and it's estimated the country's total local bond issuance this week will be no less than 346.6 billion yuan.
This is the fourth batch of common bonds issued by Guangdong this year with three-year, five-year, seven-year and ten-year maturities and an accumulative value of 15.84 billion yuan Meanwhile, Henan issued 3.58 billion yuan of directional underwriting bonds on Monday.
By the end of October, China's local governments together had issued 2.94 trillion yuan of debts this year.
As the quota for the whole year is 3.8 trillion yuan, about 860 billion yuan of local bonds will be issued in the last two months of the year.
