Mkt Watch: China interbank bonds likely to inch up Fri

Bond prices on China's interbank bond market are likely to inch up Friday amid relatively loose liquidity.

Traders noted that the market liquidity still remained relatively loose on the whole, as adverse effect caused by the IPO resumption were digested. The People's Bank of China, China's central bank, conducted 10 billion yuan worth of 7-day reverse repos on Thursday and finally maintained a net neutral position in open market operations this week On Thursday, ChinaBond New Composite Total Return Index, a broadly-based market sentiment indicator, squirmed up 0.0162 percent to 166.6151 points.
