Bond prices on China's interbank bond market are likely to increase Wednesday amid investors' expectations for more monetary easing.

Traders noted that due to investors' rising demand for cash at the year-end, the central bank was expected to further cut its reserve requirement ratio (RRR) in the future in a bid to keep liquidity environment stable.

On Tuesday, ChinaBond New Composite Total Return Index, a broadly-based market sentiment indicator, soared 0.1041 percent to 168.0886 points.
