China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) issued on Wednesday 28 billion yuan worth of 7-year T-bonds at annualized yield of 2.977 percent.

Statistics from China Government Securities Depository Trust & Clearing Co. showed that yield on the 7-year fixed interest rate T-bonds traded on the domestic interbank market stood at 3.015 percent. Market players disclosed that the subscription ratio reached 2.40 times the volume offered.

"Bond yields post gains this week, mainly due to investors' profit taking sentiment. However, given the still weak demand in real economy, the bull run of bond market is likely to extend for a period of time," said a trader with a commercial bank.

This is the second additional issue of the 26th batch of book-entry coupon bearing T-bonds offered by the ministry in 2015, with the value date and circulation date on October and December 23 respectively.
