Two Chinese banks would issue a combined amount of 2.6 billion yuan worth of tier-2 capital bonds in the onshore interbank bond market on December 28.
The two lenders are Taian Bank and Zhangjiakou City Commercial Bank. Data shows that Chinese banks planned to offer 79.8 billion yuan worth of tier-2 capital bonds since the beginning of December.
In December, the auction amounts of tier-2 capital bonds was expected to hit a one-month high.
