The Export-Import Bank of China (China Exim Bank) auctioned 3-tranche bonds, namely 3-year, 5- and 10-year financial bonds on Thursday, with the yields standing at 3.8568 percent, 3.9676 percent and 4.1602 percent respectively.
These three batches of bonds drew strong demand from investors, with the subscription ratios at 3.93, 3.57 and 3.99 times the volumes offered.
Analysts widely attributed the rosy auction result to the relaxed liquidity condition in the financial market and investors' rising expectation for more monetary easing in the future. The money raised will be used as credit loans of the bank.
China Exim Bank is a Chinese government-backed policy bank and its bonds can enjoy zero risk weighting until maturity.
