MOF issues 10Y T-bonds amid brisk demands Wed.

China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) issued 10-year book-entry coupon bearing T-bonds at annualized yield of 3.4071 percent on Wednesday, drawing brisk demands from investors.

Statistics from China Government Securities Depository Trust & Clearing Co. showed that yield on the 10-year fixed-rate T-bonds traded on the domestic interbank market stood at 3.4006 percent.

Market players disclosed that the subscription ratio reached 2.12 times the volume offered.

This is the additional issue of the 5th batch of book-entry coupon bearing T-bonds offered by the ministry in 2015, with the value date and circulation date on April 9 and May 13 respectively.

The interests will be paid semi-annually, with the April 9 and October 9 of each year as interest payment days. The principals and the last batch of interests will be paid on April 9, 2025.
