Belarus has issued 1.4 billion U.S. dollars worth of eurobonds, the Belarusian Finance Ministry spokesperson Irina Komar said on Friday.
According to Komar, Belarus issued two tranches of eurobonds for five and 10 years.
The yield of the short tranche is set at 7.125 percent, and the longer issue is 7.625 percent.
Citi, Raiffeisen Bank International AG and the Development Bank of Belarus have been selected as co-managers.
The last time Belarus entered the foreign market was in January 2011, placing 7-year eurobonds worth 800 million U.S. dollars at 8.95 percent interest rate.
