BEIJING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- The overnight Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor), which measures the borrowing cost of China's interbank market, decreased 16.5 basis points to 2.248 percent Monday.

The seven-day rate edged down 0.1 basis points to 2.607 percent, the one-month rate went up 0.9 basis points to 2.813 percent, and the one-year rate remained unchanged at 2.997 percent.
