China's weekly product oil price index declined 1.1 percent week on week to 727.25 in the week ended June 17, according to the Xinhua (Daqing) International Petroleum Information Center.
The average price of 93# gasoline lost 109 yuan to 7,581 yuan per tonne while that of 0# diesel dropped 55 yuan to 5,992 yuan per tonne.
Most product oil traders hold wait-and see attitude as international oil prices maintain overall stability, according to Li Zhenguo, an analyst with Xinhua (Daqing) International Petroleum Information Center.
Li added that domestic diesel demand is tepid on closed fishing season and slow rise of operation rates with projects under construction while gasoline prices keep stability amid rising trend.
