China's weekly product oil price index declined 0.59 percent week on week to 666.65 in the week ending July 24, according to the Xinhua (Daqing) International Petroleum Information Center.
The average price of 93# gasoline grew 10 yuan to 6,962 yuan per tonne while that of 0# diesel dropped 57 yuan to 5,486 yuan per tonne.
Gasoline and diesel prices would continue to decrease as partial product oil marketing companies offer more discounts to meet monthly sales targets and international oil prices fall down, said Jiang Bing, an analyst with Xinhua (Daqing) International Petroleum Information Center.
