China's weekly product oil price index declined 0.3 percent week on week to 636.73 in the week ending August 14, according to the Xinhua (Daqing) International Petroleum Information Center.
The average price of 93# gasoline dropped 65 yuan to 6,485 yuan per tonne while that of 0# diesel gained 6 yuan to 5,318 yuan per tonne.
Most industrial players don't place an order and just wait for the upcoming cut of national benchmark product oil prices, said Li Zhenguo, an analyst with Xinhua (Daqing) International Petroleum Information Center.
