North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is going to cultivate vertical e-commerce platforms for bulk commodities, including coal, non-ferrous metals, chemicals, special agricultural and livestock products, and rare earth.
Inner Mongolia will launch pilot Internet of Things in agriculture and animal industry to deepen application of modern information technologies, such as cloud counting and mobile internet, in bulk commodity trading and e-commerce.
By 2020, Inner Mongolia will build up 10 e-commerce demonstration areas and 10 e-commerce platforms, and targets to increase online turnover to weigh 5 percent of total retail sales of consumer goods.
