China nonferrous metals prices fall 1.2pct on week in May 18-24, MOC

Spot prices of major nonferrous metals in China fell 1.2 percent week on week in the period of May 18-24, said the Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

In a report published on its website on Tuesday, the MOC said that the price of nickel, copper and zinc declined 5.1 percent, 1.6 percent and 1.4 percent week on week, respectively, during the period of May 18-24.

Meanwhile, prices of steel products were down 0.9 percent from a week before, said the MOC.
