Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) grains closed mixed on Wednesday with massive buying boosting the prices of soybeans.

The most active corn contract for December delivery edged 0.25 cent higher, or 0.07 percent to close at 3.4525 dollars per bushel. March wheat delivery fell 0.5 cent, or 0.11 percent, to 4.4075 dollars per bushel. January soybeans rose 8.25 cents, or 0.83 percent to 9.9725 dollars per bushel.

CBOT brokers reported that funds bought 6,000 contracts of soybeans and 2,000 contracts of corn, while being flat in wheat.

The trading range in the corn market was very narrow in the past two sessions, moving less than one cent.

The soybean market appeared to be much more active on Wednesday. Massive buying obviously boosted the future prices ahead of Thanksgiving holiday. Experts believe that strong demands from overseas importers continue to support CBOT soybeans.
