According to the EIA, U.S. crude oil production averaged 11.9 million barrels per day (b/d) last week, down by 200,000 b/d from previous week and the same as this time last year.
U.S. oil prices fell on Wednesday. The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for June delivery dipped 57 cents to settle at 23.99 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
