The U.S. dollar traded around the 120 yen range early Tuesday morning in Tokyo deals, slightly down from its levels on Friday.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 120.03-04 yen, compared with 120.20-30 yen in New York and 120.11-12 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday. Both the Tokyo and the New York markets were closed on Monday for national holidays.
The euro fetched 1.1352-1353 dollars and 136.27-28 yen against 1.1354-1364 dollars and 136.56-66 yen in New York and 1.1336-1338 dollars and 136.16-20 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
